Can we just stop and applaud all the brides who have dealt with this crazy year!! 2020 has not been the year we all had hoped for! Collin + Haley were another couple that had to push back their wedding and choose a different location for the celebration, but it turned out to be absolutely perfect!
I met these two at the studio last year to chat more about their wedding day. I remember leaving the studio + calling Brandon on my way home to tell him how much I loved Haley! Right when I met her I thought to myself, I want to be friends with this girl. She was so sweet, so down to earth + just a complete JOY to be around. I remember just watching Collin look at her and smile. It was such a memorable conversation + I adored both of them from the start.
They were married on a 40 acre property with close friends and family and the day was sunny + gorgeous. As soon as the ceremony began, the clouds started rolling in and the thunder started. The pastor promised we would get through the ceremony and he was right! It wasn’t two minutes after the ceremony ended and the rain started pouring down.
It was amazing to see everyone helping to move chairs and hang sides up on the tent to keep things from getting wet. The wind really picked up and it seemed like there was no end. Well….there was an end to the madness + the weather turned + the sun started shining. The evening turned out to be gorgeous!! I am so thankful for Collin + Haley and their calm spirits. They are two beautiful souls and I am so lucky to have been a part of their day. I only hope to spend more time with them in the future and get to know them even more.
